As lead researcher on a four-person team, I owned synthesis and final reporting for a mixed-method study of CareerReactor’s free UX course. The throughline was separating two problems that looked like one: a course people genuinely valued, sitting behind a funnel almost nobody finished.

REFLECTION
What I would carry forward
01
Separate friction from failure
Analytics pointed to a weak course. User research showed the real issue was the enrollment journey. Solving the right problem changed our priorities.
02
Prioritize by impact
A long list of findings doesn't create action. Ranking issues by severity made the roadmap clear and executable.
03
Look for contradictions
The best insights came from conflicting data. Analytics, interviews, and surveys together revealed the real story.
The result
Fix the bottleneck, not the symptom.
The research shifted the team's focus from improving content to repairing the enrollment experience first, giving the team a clear direction for future work.
// the honest limits
What I would validate next.
The findings were directional, but I would validate them further with live A/B tests and post-launch analytics before scaling the solution.
